“It is truly only by example that we can ever expect to lead an industry through the difficult times our country has faced – and it is by example that each and every business and individual present at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards have led. It has been an honour and a privilege to witness such an astounding calibre of finalists for this year’s awards, with all winners thoroughly deserving of their commendations.

“Each winner and highly commended finalist was carefully selected by our specialist panels of judges for their outstanding contributions to British business and are truly at the vanguard of their individual industries. I hope these awards not only validate the inspirational impact many of the winners have had on British business, but can also be used as a platform for them to go on to reach even greater heights in the years to come.

“The awards ceremony has been masterfully supported by our selection of event partners and, of course, our Headline Sponsor Lloyds Bank who have shared in our joy of congratulating each winner on their success. With next year’s awards already well into the planning phase, I can only hope that 2023 brings us a deserving, innovative and resilient group of entrants as the finalists we celebrated last night. The true embodiment of British Business Excellence.”
