The countdown to the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026 is well underway, and what better way to celebrate this year’s exceptional finalists than an unforgettable evening at BAFTA!

Hosted by headline sponsor Lloyds, the exclusive drinks reception brought together the 2026 finalists, judges, business leaders and partners at one of London’s most iconic venues for an evening of celebration, connection and recognition.

The atmosphere was buzzing as some of Britain’s most ambitious entrepreneurs and business leaders came together to celebrate their achievements, share experiences and look ahead to the Awards ceremony at Grosvenor House on 10 November.

Celebrating ambition and excellence

The evening was a fantastic reminder of the extraordinary talent, innovation and ambition driving British business forward.

Fiamma Morton, Managing Director for SME Banking at Lloyds, spoke about the importance of recognising and supporting the businesses behind Britain’s growth.

“Supporting businesses growing for Lloyds is a fundamental part of our DNA, and so it’s so wonderful to see this community coming together to support each other, to recognize each other, and to be part of building something bigger for Britain.”

Guests also heard from Kirsty Sadler, Regional Director at Lloyds, who had a powerful message for this year’s finalists:

“This room is some of the finest quality businesses I’ve ever seen. You are in elite company.”

Her words captured the spirit of the evening, recognising not only the achievement of being shortlisted but also the opportunity for finalists to celebrate their success and make valuable connections with fellow business leaders.

Beyond the celebrations, the reception provided an opportunity for finalists to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, judges and the Lloyds team, exchanging ideas and building relationships within a community of ambitious British businesses.
