British business brilliance recognised at the 2025 Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards

The very best of British enterprise took centre stage at the 2025 Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards, as the country’s most innovative, sustainable and resilient companies were recognised at a glittering ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

Hosted by ITV’s Ranvir Singh, the prestigious event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry pioneers from across the UK to celebrate achievement, creativity, and purpose in the face of challenging economic conditions.

This year’s ceremony, the largest to date, showcased the extraordinary depth of British business talent across more than 20 award categories, with winners spanning sectors from technology and education to sustainability, manufacturing, and social enterprise.

The 2025 ceremony opened with a moving performance by Lucy, the 10-year-old blind pianist who captured hearts on Channel 4’s The Piano. Guests were later treated to a comedic performance by Josh Berry, who brought the house down with his pitch-perfect impressions of politicians and celebrities before introducing surprise guest Louis Theroux for a keynote interview.

The event also featured a recorded message from Rt Hon Rachel Reeves MP, while Red Roses vice-captain Megan Jones received a standing ovation from the audience.

Adding a sustainable twist, the event included the UK’s first kinetic dance floor, designed by Pavegen, allowing guests to generate renewable energy as they celebrated. The power created will be commemorated through tree planting on a UK farm, in partnership with 2024 finalist Pareto FM — symbolising the power of collective action.
