Aviation trailblazers JetBlue to sponsor the Business Enabler of the Year at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards

We’re happy to announce that JetBlue will be joining the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards team, sponsoring the Business Enabler of the Year category for the upcoming 2023 awards!

Born at JFK in the year 2000, the aviation trailblazers JetBlue are now a global, award-winning travel company with a focus on sustainability and fairness. JetBlue views a healthy environment as much more than a nice goal—they see it as crucial for businesses and the world as a whole. This is why their goal is to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040, and are setting clear targets along the way.

As we enter our third year of awards ceremonies, JetBlue will be sponsoring the Business Enabler of the Year category, with the award henceforth known as the JetBlue Business Enabler of the Year Award.

The award seeks to celebrate and champion businesses that have actively increased their own customers’ operational efficiency and employee engagement, have focussed on improving customer satisfaction, generated increased revenue and profitability for their customers and helped their clients to assess challenges, innovations and implemented key improvements.

The British Business Excellence Awards is the elite business awards programme for businesses of all shapes and sizes. The awards are hosting a year-long programme of networking events, round tables and exemplary judging processes, all of which will then culminate in a spectacular ceremony on Tuesday 14th November 2023 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

UK-based businesses can register their interest in entering the awards via https://enter.britishbusinessexcellenceawards.co.uk/, with the deadline being June 16th 2023.

Maja Gedosev, General Manager Europe for www.jetblue.com, commented on the partnership:

“Partnering with the British Excellence Awards was a natural next step for JetBlue in the U.K. as we continue to successfully deliver on our commitment to the UK travellers with a total of five daily flights between London and the US, serving both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

“JetBlue is a disruptor in the transatlantic market offering great onboard customer experience at low fares and by doing so brings travel cost efficiency in particular for start-ups and SME businesses. We can’t wait to deliver the Business Enabler of the Year award to the best in 2023!”

Sarah Austin, Founder & Director of the Lloyd’s Bank British Business Excellence Awards, commented on the announcement:

“The Business Enabler of the Year Award celebrates businesses that actively help their customers to increase sales – prioritising customer care as much as profitability. It is for this reason that I am thrilled to announce JetBlue as the perfect fit to sponsor this award at the 2023 awards.

“JetBlue are true innovators in the aviation space – changing the industry and the world one step at a time, with a genuinely inspirational focus on sustainability for the future of our planet.

“The Lloyd’s Bank British Business Excellence Awards looks to celebrate the resilience, innovation, and guile of British business. The awards are currently open for entry, with a deadline of June 16th 2023. Enter here before the cut-off and let’s celebrate everything that makes British business what it is.”
