British Business Excellence Awards announce new partnership with the Department for Business and Trade in 2023

The Exporter of the Year award will now be known as the Department for Business and Trade Exporter of the Year Award

The British Business Excellence Awards (www.britishbusinessexcellenceawards.co.uk) have today announced that the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) will be joining the team,  partnering with us on the Exporter of the Year category for the upcoming 2023 awards.

In partnership with DBT, we’re on the look-out for successful British businesses that have achieved the highest and most sustainable levels of international growth through exporting products, services and solutions.

If your company has achieved a significant export victory for its products and services, or built a long-term relationship with an international business partner to deliver substantial growth, it might just stand a chance at winning the Department for Business and Trade Exporter of the Year Award.

This award focuses on all aspects of exporting, with a particular focus on sustainable exporting models, innovative practices, and ethical approaches.

DBT brings business and trade together into a single department, with all the levers to unleash the power of British businesses, reform regulation to reduce burdens and unlock Brexit freedoms.

For the third incarnation of the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, DBT are partnering with us on the Exporter of the Year category, with the award henceforth known as the Department for Business and Trade Exporter of the Year Award.

The British Business Excellence Awards is the elite business awards programme for businesses of all shapes and sizes. The awards host a year-long programme of networking events, round tables and exemplary judging processes, all of which will then culminate in a spectacular awards ceremony on Tuesday 14th November 2023 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

UK-based businesses can register their interest in entering the awards via https://enter.britishbusinessexcellenceawards.co.uk/, with the deadline being June 16th 2023.

Shehzad Chaudhary, Director for International Trade and Investment, DBT Midlands, said:

“Exports are vital to creating and securing jobs, and growing the economy. As such, I’m delighted that DBT are partnering with the British Business Excellence Awards on the ‘Exporter of the Year’ award.

“Exporters are the UK’s best salespeople as they sell our fantastic goods and services to the world, so it’s only right we recognise those making a real success of it.”
