Shaker Wholesale

Awards night Tuesday 14th November Grosvenor House, London

Shaker Wholesale, the kitchen company on a mission to put premium handmade Shaker kitchens within reach of ordinary homeowners, has been named a finalist in The Vistage Growth Business of the Year Award at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026.

High-quality in-frame kitchens have traditionally been sold through expensive retail networks, producing prices that put them beyond many households. Shaker Wholesale has challenged that model by vertically integrating design, manufacturing and retail, allowing customers to buy exceptional handmade kitchens at a significantly lower price than many established competitors.

Controlling every stage

The business owns and operates its own manufacturing facility in Vietnam, giving it complete control over quality, production, lead times and innovation. That direct-to-consumer model strips out unnecessary layers of cost while preserving the craftsmanship and attention to detail expected of a premium British kitchen brand. By managing the whole customer experience, from design through production to installation, the company says it has built a scalable platform for long-term growth. Its range and approach are set out on the Shaker Wholesale website, which describes fully assembled, factory-finished kitchens supplied directly to homeowners across the UK.

From start-up to multi-million-pound business

Growth since launch has been rapid. According to the business, it has expanded from a start-up operation into a multi-million-pound company serving customers throughout the UK, selling more than 400 kitchens, building a social media audience of over 60,000 followers and growing its team to more than 130 employees across the UK and Vietnam.

Following the successful launch of its flagship showroom in Cirencester, the company has secured a second showroom in Bristol, with further sites planned across the UK. It forecasts turnover of approximately £7.5 million this year, rising to £15 million next year, driven by growing brand awareness, operational efficiency and rising consumer demand.

What differentiates Shaker Wholesale, the entry argues, is the combination of British design, international manufacturing expertise and a highly efficient business model. With ambitious expansion plans, continued investment in technology and manufacturing capacity, and a commitment to delivering outstanding value without compromising on quality, the company believes it is well positioned to become one of the UK’s leading kitchen brands.

A place at the top table

Shaker Wholesale now joins the shortlist for The Vistage Growth Business of the Year Award, a category recognising businesses with revenues up to £25m that are achieving growth across a range of metrics with a robust plan for sustained success. Judges in the category assess entrants on financial performance, leadership and innovation, employee and customer engagement, and purpose beyond profit. The winner will be announced at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards ceremony at Grosvenor House, London on 10 November 2026, where the Cirencester firm will learn whether its recipe for affordable craftsmanship takes the prize.
