ramarketing

Awards night Tuesday 14th November Grosvenor House, London

ramarketing, the specialist agency that helps life science companies around the world turn marketing into measurable commercial growth, has been named a finalist in The Vistage Growth Business of the Year Award at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026.

From offices in the UK, US and Canada, the full-service agency partners with contract development and manufacturing organisations, contract research organisations, biotech firms and healthcare communications businesses to build pipeline, strengthen positioning and deliver impact on revenue and investor confidence. What differentiates the firm, it says, is the clarity of its commercial philosophy: marketing exists to drive business growth, not to be a cost centre, a belief that shapes how strategy is constructed, how performance is reported and how the agency itself is structured.

Outpacing a cautious market

Over the past two years the agency has delivered sustained growth despite reduced discretionary marketing spend across the life sciences sector. According to the business, core revenue grew from £7.5m in FY23 to £8.9m in FY25, a compound annual growth rate of approximately 8.9 per cent, ahead of the pharma services market average of around 4.7 per cent. It enters FY26 with forecast revenue of £9.2m, representing projected year-on-year growth of approximately 3.4 per cent, supported by a growing team and a strengthened global leadership structure.

The company reports gross margins of around 60 per cent, a consistent EBITDA margin of around 25 per cent and a client retainer retention rate of approximately 74 per cent year on year, metrics it attributes to the quality of delivery and the strength of long-term partnerships. Backed by NorthEdge Capital since 2022, the agency combines the financial rigour of a private equity backed growth business with the agility of a sector specialist.

A defining acquisition

A milestone in the firm’s recent history is its acquisition of ISR Market Research in February 2026, which adds deep primary and syndicated research capability to its integrated offering, enabling insight-led, data-driven strategies that connect marketing investment directly to commercial outcomes. The deal, announced on the ramarketing newsroom, strengthens the agency’s North American presence: ISR is based in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park, one of the largest pharmaceutical and biopharma hubs in North America, and retains its brand and leadership under the agreement. Further detail on the business is available on the ramarketing website.

Redefining marketing’s role

ramarketing now joins the shortlist for The Vistage Growth Business of the Year Award, which recognises businesses with revenues up to £25m achieving growth across a range of metrics. The winner will be announced at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards ceremony at Grosvenor House, London on 10 November 2026, where the agency will learn whether its argument, that marketing deeply integrated with commercial strategy is one of the most powerful drivers of sustainable growth, has won over the judges.
