NOSY Creative Agency

Awards night Tuesday 14th November Grosvenor House, London

NOSY Creative Agency, a purpose-led creative agency that has turned down more than £900,000 of work to protect its values, has been named a finalist in The Social & Sustainable Impact Award at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026.

NOSY provides strategy, branding, digital and content services, operating within the highly competitive creative sector and helping organisations tackle complex challenges across sustainability, technology, infrastructure, education and public services. Its core mission is to help these businesses communicate clearly, build trust and engage the audiences that matter most.

Purpose before profit, by the numbers

What differentiates NOSY from its competitors, the agency says, is an unwavering commitment to putting purpose before profit. The creative industry is facing significant disruption from AI, causing many traditional agencies to shrink. Against that trend NOSY has continued to grow, because clients actively seek the authentic purpose, ethical alignment and human connection that technology cannot replicate. Over the last three years the agency reports it has actively turned down over £900,000 of misaligned project work in order to build a resilient and ethical client base.

The commercial case for that discipline is visible in its results. After pivoting to a values-first model, NOSY recovered from a financial loss to achieve sustained profitability. Crucially, the business says it has decoupled financial growth from environmental harm, reducing its annual carbon emissions from 23.6 tonnes of CO2e to 18.46 tonnes.

Leading the fight against greenwash

Within its industry NOSY is leading the charge against misleading sustainability claims. The team developed the Greenwash Scorecard, a tool funded by Innovate UK to help businesses and consumers transparently navigate environmental communications, a project also documented on the agency’s own site. It has introduced a rigorous client impact scoring methodology, ensuring that over 65 per cent of current clients actively drive environmental or social progress.

Beyond daily operations, NOSY is a Living Wage accredited employer paying over 20 per cent above the local average, and donates to environmental causes as a member of 1% for the Planet, a membership confirmed through its own reporting. Its award-winning work delivers tangible social value, including a recent Gold Award at the Smiley Charity Film Awards, a result listed by the awards organiser in April 2026, which directly secured £3,000 in vital funding for a local hospice.

NOSY, in its own words, proves that a creative agency can push boundaries, lead with principle and still achieve commercial success.

Eyes on the November ceremony

The agency now contests The Social & Sustainable Impact Award alongside businesses many times its size. Winners of the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards will be announced at Grosvenor House, London, on 10 November 2026.
