FunnelFuel, the London-based advertising technology company built to cut wasted spend from B2B digital campaigns, has been named a finalist in The Dext Innovation Award at The Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026.
Founded in 2022 by Dan Shaw (CEO), Michael Harty (CPO) and Kevin Flood (Chairman), the business describes itself as the UK’s only purpose-built B2B digital advertising technology.
The finalists were announced in July 2026, and FunnelFuel will now compete alongside fellow shortlisted businesses at the ceremony at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London, on 10 November 2026.
Tackling an expensive problem
According to the business, B2B marketers have long relied on platforms designed for consumer scale rather than lengthy, complex buying cycles, resulting in budget leakage, imprecise targeting and poor visibility of performance that makes return on investment difficult to prove. FunnelFuel’s answer is proprietary technology designed entirely for B2B, which the company says helps marketers build hyper-targeted audiences across multiple channels and every stage of the buying cycle. The result, it reports, is performance gains of around 60 per cent compared with conventional platforms.
The company’s website sets out an omnichannel managed service covering display, native, video, audio, connected TV, digital out-of-home and content syndication.
That proposition has attracted 69 client companies across multiple sectors, according to the business, alongside some of the world’s Fortune 10 firms. “In FunnelFuel, we’ve found a strategic partner who can match the high levels of performance that we at Fox Agency stand for. They regularly exceed our expectations & have a great level of service!” said Chau Wang, Head of Media NAM at Fox Agency, in a testimonial the company also displays on its website.
Growth, culture and community
The company reports that revenue almost doubled year on year and that its team has grown more than sevenfold, expansion it attributes to a culture shaped by its people and a competitive benefits package. In 2024 the business scaled internationally, opening offices in Singapore, New York and Chicago.
External recognition has followed. FunnelFuel ranks 33rd in The Sunday Times 100 list of the UK’s fastest-growing companies, a placing the business highlights on its own site, and it holds two UK Company Culture Awards alongside a named place in the Culture 100 Awards. Staff volunteer regularly, and employees have chosen Alzheimer’s Society as the company’s annual charity partner for the second year running.
The road to Grosvenor House
The judging criteria for the category are set out on The Dext Innovation Award 2026 category page. FunnelFuel’s place among the finalists puts it in contention at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards, billed by its organisers as the UK’s largest business awards programme.
Whatever the judges decide in November, the finalist berth caps a period in which FunnelFuel has set out to prove that B2B digital advertising can deliver accountable, measurable returns on marketing budgets.
