Lou Ellis-Frankland is the Owner & Chief Executive Officer of Mansfield Pollard, a 159-year-old British manufacturing business specialising in air handling and data centre cooling solutions. Since joining the company in 2017 and leading a management buyout in 2020, she has transformed the business from a loss-making manufacturer into a high-growth, award-winning organisation, increasing turnover from £10.3m to £28m and positioning the company towards a £75m target.
Under Lou’s leadership, Mansfield Pollard has become recognised for operational excellence, sustainability and workplace culture, achieving carbon neutral status for five consecutive years, delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK data centre sector, and earning national recognition including UK Employer of the Year and Yorkshire Business of the Year.
A strong advocate for inclusive leadership, apprenticeships and regional manufacturing growth, Lou is also a Justice of the Peace and an active mentor supporting young people, women in manufacturing, and Yorkshire SMEs.
