The Diversity Champion of the Year Award
This award is open to any individual or business that is proud to say that they are the most diverse and forward-thinking policy and strategy towards equality. This award will be given to those who encourage uncomfortable conversations, who are constantly challenging the status quo and believe in a brighter future.
Diversity Champions are important to UK business because they role model inclusion. They are the people taking action to ensure inclusion and diversity objectives are achieved: they are making inclusion an everyday reality. Judges will be looking for both internal and external campaigns, recruitment practices, internal strategies, individuals and groups who champion diversity with business. Judges will be looking for evidence of how this is embedded in the overall business strategy and aligned with any commercial objectives.
Judges will look for meaning and measurable impact of diversity practices within the business and what this looks like in the future also.
