Bank British Business Excellence Awards Partners With iNEWS

Proud to partner with inews for the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards

We are proud to partner with inews for the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards this year. inews covers everything you need to know about the things that matter and is one of the UK’s most trusted news brands.

In a recent piece, they spoke about the launch of our exciting awards programme and as normality returns, making 2021 the year to reward the UK’s most resilient firms.

This week, millions of us will have donned our finest, warmest clothes and headed out to enjoy a freshly pulled pint, G&T, chilled glass of Chardonnay or warming Rioja in the dreary April weather outside our local pubs. Hooray! Life is beginning to feel a bit more normal.

While we’ll have to keep our best glass-half-full specs on that the Government’s plan to lift lockdown restrictions gradually over the next few weeks will actually happen, by the end of this year, it does look reasonably certain that enough of us will have been vaccinated to justify events for large numbers of people to take place in real life again.

Rather than getting excited about finding a jacket that most closely resembles an extremely well-stuffed duvet, we might be able to get out the high heels, black ties and beautiful dresses and take them out to parties.

In the spirit of getting back to normal then, it’s with no small flicker of anticipation that we can reveal that i has partnered with the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, which launched on Wednesday and seek to recognise some of the most inspiring British businesses and owners who have met challenges with ingenuity and stoicism.

“After the setback is the comeback,” says Sarah Austin, who took the brave step of becoming a business owner herself last year in order to launch the awards.

“The British Business Excellence Awards is bringing some cheer back to the UK business community after the trials and tribulations of the coronavirus crisis. We think it will be one of the UK’s most prestigious awards programmes and we are planning a glittering ceremony on 9 November 2021 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London for the winners.”

The awards celebrate the resilience, innovation and creativity of British businesses, whether big or small, an innovative new start-up or an established industry player, private, public or third sector.

If your business is based in the United Kingdom and has something to shout about, from successful new initiatives to priceless community contributions, inews wants to hear your story. Email us at money@inews.co.uk.

If you want to enter the awards, the deadline is Friday 25 June. Entry cost is £249 but is reduced to £199 if you submit your entry by 8 May.

From successful new initiatives to priceless community contributions, we are excited for inews to partner with Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards this year and celebrate the great British business comeback in November. Stay tuned as we showcase the innovation, entrepreneurship and success of the best businesses all over Britain, and present their accolades on a national scale.
