Francesca Pittaway is the Commercial Director of curated online marketplace Not On The High Street which brings together 5.2 million customers with over 5,500 small businesses selling more than 300,000 products, joining the business in 2015.
She is passionate about ensuring small businesses can fulfil their potential and add authenticity to the UK’s retail landscape. During her 8 years with Not On The High Street she has been instrumental in significant range and Partner growth on the platform and has led on an innumerable amount of commercial efforts to drive growth by broadening the marketplace’s appeal, attracting a wider audience base and ultimately championing and supporting small businesses.
Prior to joining Not On The High Street, Francesca started her career in legal and business affairs at BBC Worldwide before moving into buying and corporate partnerships at BBC Children in Need where she grew corporate donations from retailers such as Asda, Boots and Debenhams by 400%, established the charity’s own product development cycle and implemented their first official e-commerce platform during her time there.
